On June 9, 2020, residents of the Cazenovia Central School District will not only be voting on the annual school budget but also voting for candidates to the Board of Education.
Candidates interested in running for the Board of Education may email the District Clerk at jgoris@caz.cnyric.org or call (315) 655-1317 and a petition will be mailed to your residence.
Petitions are due back in the District Office by 4:00 p.m. on May 11, 2020.
Candidates for the Board of Education:
- Must be a qualified voter of the District
- Must be a citizen of the United States, at least 18 years of age and not a convicted felon
- Must be and have been a Cazenovia School District resident for at least one year prior to June 9, 2020
- May not be a current employee of the District
- May not reside with another member of the same school board as a member of the same family
- May not simultaneously hold another incompatible public office
