With summer right around the corner, it is time to think about keeping children healthy while school is out. This summer, the Liverpool Central School District will once again provide free meals to children during the summer months. The summer meal program will be held at four locations:
Long Branch Elementary
4035 Long Branch Road
Dates: July 1 to Aug. 16 (closed July 4 and 5)
Breakfast: 8:30 to 9 a.m. Monday through Thursday
Lunch: 12:30 to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday
Chestnut Hill Elementary
200 Saslon Park Drive
Dates: July 8 to Aug. 9
Breakfast: 8:30 to 9 a.m. Monday through Thursday (starting July 15)
Lunch: 12:15 to 12:45 p.m. Monday through Friday
Donlin Drive Elementary
299 Donlin Drive
Dates: July 15 to Aug. 9
Breakfast: 8:30 to 9 a.m. Monday through Thursday
Lunch: 12:15 to 12:45 p.m. Monday through Friday
OCM BOCES
4500 Crown Road
Dates: July 8 to Aug. 16
Breakfast: 8:30 to 9 a.m. Monday through Friday
Lunch: 11:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday through Friday
Any child under age 18 may participate in the summer meal program. There are no income eligibility guidelines and registration is not required. Paid for through federal government funding, the program does not impact local taxes.
