BALDWINSVILLE — Voters in the Baldwinsville Central School District have approved the district’s proposed budget for the 2021-22 school year.
The budget passed with 1,148 yes votes and 352 no votes.
The appropriations for the 2021-22 budget total $114,375,039, which is an increase of 1.88% over the current year’s spending.
Voters also approved the bus and vehicle purchase proposition, which totals $1,237,954. The measure passed with 1,112 yes votes and 381 no votes.
Proposition III, made up of capital projects totaling $3,813,200, also passed with 1,187 yes votes and 309 no votes.
Three candidates were elected to the Baldwinsville Board of Education. Shelly Bligh Goeckel received 1,224 votes, Anthony L. Germano received 974 votes and Frank M. Matus received 820 votes.
Tanya Rosado-Barringer, who was appointed to the BOE in December 2020 to fill the seat vacated by Christina Pavetto Bond, was not elected. She received 807 votes.
