The newest member of the Liverpool Village Tree Committee is Holly Granat, a relatively new resident of Liverpool.
She’s an environmental analyst in the division of environmental permits with the state DEC’s Region 7.
Granat also manages natural resource permits for Cayuga and Oswego counties.
At its June 15 meeting, the village board of trustees appointed Granat to the five-person tree committee chaired by village resident Yvette Hewitt.
The newest Liverpool Public Library trustee is Ashley Gouger, an instructional designer at the State University of New York College of Environmental Sciences and Forestry.
She lives within throwing distance of the library.
Gouger was elected – while running unopposed – for the LPL board of trustees in last week’s Liverpool Central School District balloting. She also serves as co-moderator of Liverpool First Presbyterian Church’s deacon board.
The 10-member library board is headed by Denise Baker, a nurse who works as an administrator for Molina HealthCare.
