With assistance from the Cazenovia Area Community Development Association (CACDA), the Village of Cazenovia is preparing an application for the 2019 Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI).
This program, facilitated by the Regional Economic Development Councils, awards funding to one downtown in each of the 10 regions within the state. The awards are used to implement catalytic projects that advance the community’s vision for revitalization.
At the upcoming village board meeting on May 6 at 7 p.m., representatives from CACDA will discuss the Cazenovia DRI proposal and seek input from the community. Community members with ideas on a future vision for downtown Cazenovia are encouraged to attend.
