To the editor:
I have known Doug Foster for many years, seeing him grow from a youth to an outstanding pillar of the community. He is a person of strong moral principles and possesses many positive personality traits such as trustworthiness, integrity and loyalty. He and his wife, Carrie, are members of the First United Methodist Church here in Baldwinsville and sing in the choir along with my wife, Rebecca, and myself. Doug has a sterling record as highway superintendent for the town of Van Buren; his accomplishments are numerous. Doug has compassion for the people he serves and passion for his job. He is certainly an asset to the community and worthy of reelection to his position. Remember to get out and vote on Nov. 7.
