Cicero Police Chief Steve Rotunno reports that the Town of Cicero Police Department is currently investigating a robbery that occurred in the town of Cicero.
At approximately 9:25 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 13, Cicero Police, Onondaga County Sheriff’s Deputies, and New York State Police responded to a robbery reported at the U-Haul of North Syracuse, located at 5967 E. Taft Road, Cicero.
Upon police arrival, witnesses told law enforcement that a Black male customer began an argument with an employee after returning a vehicle. During the argument the male forcibly grabbed cash and a cellphone from the employee’s hand.
The Black male was described as being taller, wearing blue pants and light-colored shorts. Further investigation led to the suspect being identified as Michael C. Alexander who fled the area in a silver or gray Dodge Charger westbound on East Taft Road toward Route 81 with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The Cicero PD is continuing to investigate the robbery and asks anyone with information to contact the Cicero Police Department at 315-699-3677 ext 245.
