DeWitt police attempt to identify burglary suspect

Chief of Police John Anton reports that the DeWitt Police Department responded to a commercial burglary that occurred around 4:30 a.m. on Oct. 11 at 202 Twin Oaks Drive in DeWitt. In this burglary, the male broke into the business by breaking the window. Surveillance footage, featured below, shows a male between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 10 inches wearing a Capital Home Improvement sweatshirt, a black hat, jeans and dark footwear.

The DeWitt Police Department is asking for assistance identifying the suspect. All tips or leads can be reported to tips@townofdewitt.com, or people can contact the DeWitt Police Criminal Investigations Division at 315-449-3640.
