On Dec. 20, Andrew W. McGuigan, 37, of 25 Comstock Road, Baldwinsville, was arrested and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operator and no seat belt regarding an arrest warrant issued by the Village of Baldwinsville Court on Oct. 12. He turned himself in, was arraigned in front of Judge Huling and released on his own recognizance to reappear in court on Jan. 17.
On Dec. 20, Tiffany N. Meech, 26, of 104 Gannett Ave., Syracuse, was arrested and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operator and speed in zone regarding an arrest warrant issued by the Village of Baldwinsville Court on Oct. 12. She turned herself in, was arraigned in front of Judge Huling and was released on her own recognizance to reappear in court on Jan. 17.
On Dec. 21, Corey M. Farnham, 34, of 5901 Griffin Drive, Apartment EE20, Cicero, was arrested and charged with third-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal mischief after an investigation into a physical altercation at JP’s Tavern at 109 Syracuse St. According to the report, the altercation took place inside the bar and the victim fell to the floor after being punched in the face. However, the bar’s owner said that the fight actually happened in the parking lot. No fight took place inside the bar, nor was anyone injured inside the bar. (Updated Feb. 6)
On Dec. 22, Patrick D. Karn, 24, a transient, was issued a criminal summons by the Village of Baldwinsville Court on Dec. 20 charging him with second-degree harassment after an investigation into an incident at the Microtel Inn at 131 Downer St. on Dec 19. He is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 10.
On Jan. 1, Harry V. Pettitt IV, 50, of 38 Davis St., Phoenix, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol level greater than .08 percent, aggravated driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol level greater than .18 percent and speed not reasonable and prudent when alcohol involvement was detected after an investigation into a property damage accident on Smokey Hollow Road where the driver went off the road and struck a tree. He is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 24.
On Jan. 4, Brandon J. Desormeau, 26, of 4049 Arrowhead Lane, Liverpool, was arrested and charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana, failure to stop at stop sign and no tail lights when police detected an odor of marijuana emanating from his vehicle after a traffic stop on Phillips Street for failing to stop at a stop sign and for driving with no passenger side taillight. He was released on an appearance ticket to appear in court on Feb. 14.
On Jan. 10, Nikki Windhausen, 32, of 6678 East Sorrell Hill Road, Warners, was arrested and charged with first-degree criminal contempt and second-degree harassment after an investigation into a physical domestic incident on Canton Street and violating an active Order of Protection. She was arraigned in the Centralized Arraignment Court and is scheduled to reappear in the Village of Baldwinsville Court on Jan. 17.
On Jan. 13, Larry Lewis, 38, of 32 Grove St., Baldwinsville, was arrested and charged with felony third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, felony criminal possession of a firearm, felony fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana after an investigation into a status check of a male reported to be asleep in his vehicle at the intersection of East Genesee Street and Oswego Street.
On Jan. 16, John R. Kratzer, 27, of 24 Mildred Ave., Baldwinsville, was arrested and charged with criminal obstruction of breathing, two counts of fourth-degree criminal mischief, second-degree harassment and unlawful possession of marijuana after an investigation into a physical, domestic complaint where the victim was punched, pushed to the ground, choked with his hands and prevented a call to police by forcibly taking the phone and throwing it into the wall. He was also found to be in possession of marijuana. He was arraigned in the Centralized Arraignment Center and is scheduled to reappear in the Village of Baldwinsville Court on Feb. 14.
