BALDWINSVILLE — Artisan home décor shop Orange and Olive held its grand opening with a ribbon cutting and ice cream social at their new location in O’Reilly’s Plaza on Aug. 7.
Nichole and Chris Pistello named their business after their five-times-great-grandparents and operated out of their home for several years before moving to O’Reilly’s Plaza in March 2021.
“We have been remodeling homes and doing custom woodwork in our spare time for over 10 years. It quickly moved from a hobby into a passion. We love taking old weathered wood and furniture and giving it new life, along with working on our house in multiple capacities to make it our home. Whether it’s using our imaginations to create a custom piece, refreshing our walls with a coat of paint or working on our landscaping,” the Pistellos wrote on their website.
Among the offerings at Orange and Olive are locally made seasonings from Clean Slate Farm and Syracuse Salt Co., custom floral wreaths by Honeybee Designs, and Dixie Belle, Silk, and Sweet Pickins paint.
Orange and Olive is located in O’Reilly’s Plaza, at 45 ½ E. Genesee St. in Baldwinsville. For more information, call 315-303-0544 or visit orange-and-olive.com.
