CAZENOVIA — On Aug. 15, the Greater Cazenovia Area Chamber of Commerce (GCACC) will present the third annual Caz Block Fest.
The event will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on Lincklaen Street between Albany Street and the post office.
This year’s celebration will feature a pulled pork barbeque and other family-friendly foods from Cazenovia Lodge No. 616, Free & Accepted Masons; treats from the “Lickety Split” ice cream truck; children’s goody bags with balloons; kid-friendly events presented by the Summit Church; and live music by the Ponytail James Band, who will be back by popular demand.
“Last year’s Block Fest was canceled due to COVID-19, so this year is about being thankful,” said GCACC board member Barb Houghton of Community Bank, N.A. “We live in such a great community and the chamber appreciates all the local businesses and how hard this last year was for everyone. We want people to just come out and enjoy an afternoon of good food, music, and the company of our neighbors.”
All proceeds from the event will go towards supporting the GCACC. According to Houghton, donations are also appreciated.
