Nine individuals, four teams to be added to celebrated at induction ceremony
The Cazenovia Athletic Association has selected nine new members and four new teams to be inducted into the Hall of Fame during a ceremony scheduled for late September.
The new members will be Jill Hardesty-Johnson, Sue Potter Gardiner, John Dargle, Al-Vaugh Brown, Brian Gara, Dennis Colligan, John Fontana, Norm Webber and Mike Driscoll.
The CAA will also be honoring the following teams: 1996 football team, 1966 boys basketball team, and the 1987 and 1988 girls soccer teams.
Three individuals will be honored with a service award at the event: Max Buckley, Terry Kavanaugh and Harvey Stevens.
The induction ceremony will take place on Sept. 30 at the Hampton Inn Cazenovia. A cocktail reception will begin at 6 p.m., followed by dinner. The cost of the celebration will be $35 a person.
