OLPA Schedule kicks off with Earth Day event
Otisco Lake Preservation Association kicks off his summer schedule this Saturday with their annual Earth Day event. Our event is in cooperation with the American Chemical Society & Onondaga County Resource Recovery Agency.
This year all will meet at Otisco Lake Park at 9:30 AM. We will do a roadside cleanup of paper, bottles and garbage accumulated over the winter months.
We will then reconvene at Lakeside Vista for a pizza and wings luncheon provided by the local chapter of the American Chemical Society. We are grateful to the ACS for once again sponsoring this important event.
OLPA’s mission is to “Preserve the health, beauty and welfare of our lake, now & for the future.” This annual Earth Day kick off speaks completely to our mission.
Please join us in celebrating our lake and watershed and enjoy some after clean-up discussion at our free luncheon event.
