The village of Baldwinsville has installed a patio with a fountain and benches in Village Square behind the B’ville Diner. Village Engineer Steve Darcangelo said the project was done in-house by the Baldwinsville Department of Public Works with assistance from Dave Sawyer, a local patio and paver brick contractor. Pedestrians have been stopping by the patio and have even tossed a few pennies into the fountain. The project is one of several that the village plans to complete in a three-year period. The $192,000 project series also includes paving the River Street parking lot, drainage improvements on Ellsworth Road, sidewalk repairs at Village Hall and the repair and replacement of dam lights on the Seneca River.
