If You Want to Write a Children’s Book: Six Things You Should Know With Published Author Mylisa Larsen.
Thursday, July 28 at 6:30 p.m. in the Friends Community Room
If you’ve always wanted to write a children’s book and wondered how to go about doing that, this class is for you.
Join us to discuss resources, the realities of the publishing industry and what you’ll probably encounter as you go down the path to becoming a published writer. Bring your questions.
Larsen has been telling stories for a long time.
This has caused her to get gimlet-eyed looks from her parents, her siblings and later, her own children when they felt that certain stories had been embellished beyond acceptable limits.
She now writes children’s books where her talents for hyperbole are actually rewarded.
She is the author of the “How to Put Your Parents to Bed” (HarperCollins) and “If I were a Kangaroo.” (coming out from Viking, Spring 2017).
