Chittenango resident Cynthia Serviss last week received a check for $10,000 for being an instant cash winner in the Tops Monopoly Game, based on the world-famous Hasbro board game, Monopoly. Serviss received the check during a presentation at the Chittenango Tops located at 800 West Genesee St.
Customers played the game, which ended July 9, by obtaining a free board at any Tops Markets location. At the checkout, one game ticket is given, and a prize is awarded once a section is completed on the individual game board. Customers have the opportunity to earn bonus game tickets by purchasing specially marked products throughout Tops Markets locations.
Among the top prizes were a $250,000 new home, $100,000 cash nest egg, choice of a vehicle at $35,000, trip to Washington, DC a seven-day trip for two on Carnival Cruise Lines. Other prizes included $25,000 in college tuition a $10,000 kitchen makeover, Darien Lake Family Vacation package, free gas or groceries for a year and more.
