Some great news for local music lovers: there will be free live music most weeknights during the month of July in the Eastern suburbs. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and get ready for a full month of great bands and good times!

All concerts will be held on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Ellis Field Gazebo.

Minoa
“Cruisin in Minoa” is held from 5 to 8:30 p.m. on Fridays in Lewis Park on the corner of Hulbert St. and Costello Parkway. All types of cars are welcome: antique, classics and street rods. Music starts at 6:30 p.m.

Fayetteville concerts take place at Beard Park, but are on various days and at different times.
July 12: Symphoria Concert, 8 p.m.
July 17: Fayetteville JazzFest featuring headlining vocalist Cookie Coogan, performing with Ronnie Leigh, the Salt City Jazz Collective, and special guest the Stan Colella All-Star Band. Uno Chicago Grill will be on hand to sell food – all proceeds benefit the Motto Sheet Music Collection at the Fayetteville Free Library.
DeWitt
DeWitt’s “Concerts in the Park” are held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursdays at Ryder Park.
