Van Buren Councilor Tony Saraceni announced that the Friends of Van Buren Park not-for-profit organization has officially formed. The purpose of the group is to increase awareness of Van Buren’s park, which he called “a beautiful asset.”
“This is one area where we can raise revenue for the town,” Saraceni added.
Van Buren residents interested in serving on the Friends of Van Buren Park board or as volunteers can call the town hall at 635-3010.
