State Police have charged an East Syracuse man in relation to child pornography.
Timothy P. McKennan, 35, has been charged in the town of DeWitt with three counts of possessing a secual performance of a child, and one count of first-degree attempted disseminating indecent material to a child in the village of Manlius. McKennan was on the career staff at the Manlius Fire Department in the village as a firefighter and paramedic. He’s now on administrative leave, according to sources. He was previously a Fayetteville firefighter, as well.
All four counts are class E felonies.
The charges were levied after a seven month investigation by the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigations, City of Utica Police Department and the Onondaga County District Attorney’s Office.
