Fayetteville
More than 200 votes were cast in this year’s uncontested elections. A total of 243 votes were cast in the village. Current Mayor Mark Olson received 224 to keep his office. Trustee Dan Kinsella will also be staying on the board with 217 votes. Newcomer Dennis Duggleby received 171 votes. He’ll take over the spot left vacant by trustee Mary Coleman. She decided to not run for re-election, but did receive two write-in votes.
Minoa
In the village’s contested election, more than 400 votes were cast for mayor and two village trustees.
Mayor Richard Donovan will be keeping his office, with 351 votes. John Abbott and Eric Christensen will represent the village on the board, receiving 277 and 265 votes, respectively. Scott Parish received 238 votes in the election.
