A mother and her young daughter were injured in a hit-and-run accident in the 2500 block of James Street in Eastwood Wednesday morning.
Both were taken to the hospital to be checked out, a Syracuse Fire Department official said.
The driver of the second vehicle left the scene after the accident, according to witnesses at the scene.
