Baldwinsville girls bowler Annie Peterson was just short of perfection during her team’s 3-0 shutout of Central Square last Tuesday at Green Acres Bowl.
Peterson managed a 278 game, with 10 strikes, part of a 630 series. Britni Flask offered some backup, as she recorded a 201 game during her 516 series.
Meanwhile, the B’ville boys team edged those same Red Hawks 2-1 with a number of fine efforts, led by Ryan Zbikowski, who shot a three-game total of 669 that included a 257 high game.
Tyler Wachus put together a 639 series, while Sam Sojdak managed a 237 game in his 586 set. Frank Mento had a 553 series and high game of 201.
On Thursday, the Bees made it back-to-back wins, sweeping Fayetteville-Manlius in a pair of 3-0 matches at Thunderbird Lanes.
Flask stepped up for the B’ville girls, her 586 series and 232 high game topping Peterson, who shot a 230 during her 562 set. Zbikowski led on the boys side with a 610 series as Sam Sojdak put up a 255 game on his way to a 596 series.
Before the holiday break, the Bees will visit Oswego on Tuesday and host Auburn on Thursday afternoon at Thunderbird.
