Charis Parker led the way for the Baldwinsville girls swim team as it claimed a 48-46 victory over Auburn Thursday night at the Baker High School pool and improved to 3-0 on the season.
Parker immediately made an impact in the 200 medley relay, joining Samantha Sidorakis, Kaitlyn Martin and Megan Eubank to win that race in a quick time of 2:01.81.
Then, on her own, Parker recorded a victory in the 200 individual medley in 2:25.27, following that up with another victory later in the meet in the 100 breaststroke in 1:11.53. Sidorakis also won, in the 100 backstroke, beating the field with a time of 1:06.80.
This, along with a series of second and third-place finishes in the other races, allowed B’ville to overcome the Maroons winning most of the individual races and two relays. MaryJane Leja led Auburn by taking the 50 freestyle (25.50 seconds) and 100 freestyle (56.11 seconds).
The Bees remain at home this Thursday night for another key CNY Counties League meet, going for four in a row as it takes on Liverpool.
