Fire destroyed a home in Seneca Knolls early this morning.
Chelsey Wimmers, 17, and her mother were awoken by a pounding noise at 4 a.m. this morning when they realized their neighbors house was on fire.
“[David Koegel] jumped through a window [to assist Kay Oldenburg] who was looking for her cats,” she said. Koegel was able to pull the 79-year-old woman to safety.
According to Wimmers, the fire started in the garage of the home located at 203 Baker Boulevard. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
