The Jordan-Elbridge community will come together tomorrow night, Nov. 21, to pray for Matt McCabe and his family.
Matt, a resident of Jordan for 23 years with his wife, Gayle, had a heart transplant Nov. 16 and is now in critical condition. Matt and Gayle are the father of five children; their youngest, Ethan, is in fourth grade.
The community raised $10,000 during a benefit for Matt held Oct. 3 and continues to raise money for lodging, food, transport and medication through the Heart4Matt fund. Donations can be made via paypal to [email protected].
Community members are advised to dress warm and bring a candle to the vigil, which will be held at 7 p.m. outside the McCabe home. Father DeLorenzo has graciously offered to lead the prayer.
