The Town of Marcellus Parks and Recreation Department and the Saint Francis Health Council will hold a Flu Shot Clinic from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Thursday Oct. 7 at the Saint Francis Church Hall. The shots are free with a Medicare Card or $30 without. Please call the Marcellus Recreation office to register at 673-3269 ext. 2. Spots are limited.
On Monday Oct. 18 the department will travel to the Turning Stone Casino for its last bingo trip of the year. This trip costs $15 per person, which includes $10 in Bingo Bucks and a $5 meal coupon. This trip is open to anyone ages 18 and older. The bus will leave Marcellus at 8:30 a.m. and return to Marcellus at approximately 5 p.m. The registration deadline is Oct. 15.
Looking for a fun fall outing? On Oct. 5 the department will travel to the Genesee Country Village and Museum. First we will visit the Hobby Horse in LeRoy. After lunch enjoy a trolley ride and a guided tour of the Genesee Country Village and Museum. The cost is $55 and covers lunch at the D&R Depot where we will dine in a restored train depot. The bus will depart Marcellus at 8:15 a.m. and return at approximately 7 p.m. Register today; there are only a few spots left!
