Cazenovia senior Katie Ball (middle) attended the New York State School Music Association 2009 Winter Conference on Dec. 3 through 5 in Rochester. She was selected for the Conference All-State Women’s Choir. The All-State ensembles rehearsed and performed with nationally renowned conductors, presenting a final concert in the Eastman Theatre. Students chosen for Conference All-State are among the top performing musicians in New York State. They must perform a level 6 All-State NYSSMA solo and receive a score of A+ in order to be eligible. Senior, Sarah Fellows, right, and junior Hannah Chanatry, left, were named alternates for the conference.
