On Friday Nov. 17, the Onondaga County Courthouse opened its doors to nearly 30 new adoptive families.
Thanks to the efforts of Family Court Judge Martha Walsh Hood, the county held its sixth annual National Adoption Day celebration. The ceremony honored adoptees new and old, offering refreshments, balloons and words of thanks to all in attendance.
