Hallowrun founder continues to raise money for Food Bank

Pomeroy School of Nursing students Liz Westfall and Emily Watson raised enough money for the Food Bank of CNY to provide 1,100 meals.

Pomeroy School of Nursing student Liz Westfall, a Cicero-North Syracuse High School graduate and the founder of the Hallowrun for Hunger, organized another event to support the Food Bank of CNY at the inaugural Witches and Wizardry Festival in Baldwinsville on Saturday, Oct. 9. Pictured with fellow nursing student Emily Watson, the girls raised enough money for more than 1,100 meals and also won the Golden Pumpkin Award for best booth decoration.
