The village of North Syracuse will hold its annual Earth Day Clean Up on Saturday, April 21. Individuals and groups are asked to register and help clean up our community.
Participants are to meet at the North Syracuse Community Center at 9 a.m. Areas for clean up will be identified and garbage bags and disposable gloves will be provided. Juice, water and donuts will be offered. Feel free to bring your own rakes and gloves. Village residents may also bring any “outdoor refuse” to the Community Center parking lot from 9 to 11:30 a.m. DPW will haul away all garbage.
Following the clean up, participants are invited back to the Community Center. Twin Trees III will provide complimentary pizza, and there will also be hot dogs, chips and soda provided.
Call the North Syracuse Parks and Recreation office at (315) 458-8050 with questions and to sign up.
