ESFD members participate in governor’s motorcycle ride across New York to support breast cancer screening

On July 8, 2016 four members of the East Syracuse Fire Department joined Governor Andrew Cuomo for his motorcycle ride across New York State as part of his “Get Screened, No Excuses” campaign for breast cancer screening. Past Chief James Brewster, Past Assistant Chief Tom Brewster, firefighter Ron Knaflewski and Past Chief Joe McAllister participated in the ride from the New York State Fairgrounds to Victor, NY. The ESFD said its members have always been a big supporter of the fight against breast cancer and they are proud to have had members support this cause.
