NOPL is pleased to announce that streaming is now available through their already-popular digital music service, Freegal.
With your library card and PIN, you can stream three hours of music daily on Freegal, either through a web browser on your computer or via the Freegal app on your mobile device. Get started by building your own playlist, or choose from one of their ready-made lists. When you come across a song that you know you will want to listen to again and again, simply download it instead — you can download five songs every week. In addition, you can now enjoy full-length previews of songs rather than the 20-second clips you used to find on Freegal.
Freegal offers access to nearly 9 million songs from genres including rock, hip-hop, top 40, pop, country, classical, reggae, jazz, blues, Latin and more through the Sony Music Entertainment catalog. Enjoy popular artists such as Adele, Bruno Mars, Carrie Underwood, One Direction, Beyoncé and Dave Matthews Band. Classic rock enthusiasts can enjoy Bad Company, The Guess Who, Blue Oyster Cult and Electric Light Orchestra. And there are lots of other favorites: Michael Jackson, Miles Davis, The Piano Guys and so much more.
