Cazenovia College hosts several jazz acts at the Catherine Cummings Theatre
The 17th Annual Jazz-N-Caz will serve up another year of powerful jazz performances in Cazenovia from Sept. 13 through 15 in three venues.
Jeff Stockham and The Jazz Police, with special guest singer/songwriter Ria Curley, will kick off the line-up on Thursday evening with live music on the Brae Loch Inn lawn.
On Friday night in the theatre, Noah Kellman and Nick Frenay will lead off the evening, followed by The Brubeck Brothers Quartet with special guests Noah Kellman and Nick Frenay. There will be a tribute to jazz great Henry Butler during this performance.
The Seven Stone Steps at the Lincklaen House will host Jazz After Hours.
The DIVA Jazz Orchestra with special guest Nancy Kelly will cap off the weekend’s entertainment in the theatre on Saturday. Kelly will be recognized with the 2018 Jazz-N-Caz Award. A late-night Jazz After Hours gathering at the Seven Stone Steps will conclude the festivities.
