ONONDAGA COUNTY – Once again, the Baldwinsville girls bowling team is rolling through all of its opposition.
The Bees’ latest string of victories continued last Tuesday when it handled Central Square 7-0 in its home opener at B’ville Sports Bowl.
Jenna Speich closed with games of 211 and 235 in her 617 series, with Julia Speich close behind as she had a 208, 184 and 181 in her 573 set.
Madison Hass opened with a 202 and put together a three-game total of 540 as Samantha Hass closed strong, her 236 part of a 516 series.
Over in the boys match, B’ville lost 5-2 to Central Square, but still had some strong individual performances.
Scott Ritcey’s 626 included games of 227 and 202, while Zenon Gasiorowski started with a 197 and ended with a 211 amid a 579 series.
Liam Reedy opened with a 227 in his 566 series. Charles Richards had 204 and 200 games in his 564 set. But the Redhakws had seven 200-plus games as Owen Schlueter led with a 639 series (games of 229 and 224) and Collin Edwards shot 208, 205 and 214 in his 627 set.
A day later, facing Syracuse City at Strike-N-Spare Lanes, the girls Bees got another 7-0 win as the boys lost a 2-1 decision despite a 489 series from Richards and 448 series from Ritcey.
Samantha Hass led this time for the girls, her 622 series including games of 226 and 221. Julia Speich was steady in games of 195, 196 and 194 in her 585 set as Madison Hass closed with a 196 and Jenna Speich twice shot 187 on her way to a 531 series.
