The town of Cicero Police Department has received a grant from the National Rifle Association for $2,850 that will allow the department to purchase 6,000 rounds of rifle ammunition to support the department’s rifle training programming.
This grant is important during times of tight budgets, said Cicero Police Chief Joseph Snell.
“The department wants to thank the NRA for their gracious and timely donation at a time when we had just implemented our rifle program,” Snell said.
