To the editor:
The first annual Cazenovia Chamber Small Business Expo, held Saturday, March 11, was a great success. Over 40 local vendors set up tables at Spruce Ridge Greenhouse to showcase their businesses to other businesses and people from the community.
The chamber would like to thank Amanda and Jon Kogut for organizing the event and allowing us to host our event in their greenhouse; Anna Marie Neuland for all of the pre-planning that she did to make sure the event went off without a hitch and Kim McCully for creating the idea of the expo and making it come to fruition. Kim’s focus on finding ways to additionally benefit our members is very important for our chamber and its members. Caitlin Gambee and Holly McCully, thank you for all of the promotion of this event. The turnout for this inaugural event was wonderful, please be sure to watch for the expo next year.
We have great events coming up like the Small Business Forum, which is at 5:30 p.m. the last Tuesday of each month at Common Grounds, where you can learn different things to benefit your small business. Also, don’t forget to register for our Fool’s Food Truck 5k to be held on April 1. Please join us.
