Five student athletes from Cazenovia High School announced their future plans for college academics and athletics during a Feb. 8 ceremony at the high school. CHS seniors Kirsten Underwood, Zoe Shephard, Nathan Romig, Jamie Joseph and Mikaylee Whalen all declared their intentions to attend and play sports for colleges beginning this fall.
•Underwood said she plans to attend Campbell University where she will study pre-med and play soccer for the Fighting Camels (NCAA Division I).
• Shephard said she will attend Princeton University where she will study business and play field hockey for the Tigers (NCAA Division I).
• Romig said he plans to attend Colgate University where he will study economics and play tennis for the Raiders (NCAA Division I).
• Joseph said she will attend Clark University where she will study political science and play soccer for the Cougars (NCAA Division 3).
• Whalen said she plans to attend Nazareth College where she will study physical therapy and play field hockey for the Golden Flyers (NCAA Division 3).
