The Art and Science of Honey Production workshop will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 22, at Room 125 Charlton Hall, Morrisville State College, Morrisville, and is sponsored by Johnstons Honey Bee Farm and CCE of Madison County.
Registration opens at 8 a.m., followed by speakers, including Peter Borst, Michael Johnston and Lloyd Spear, covering topics relating to honey production, including plants, soils, honeybees, honey composition, harvesting, packaging and marketing honey.
Cost of the program is $45 (includes lunch). Preregistration is required.
