Carol F. (Frawley) Cooper, 87, of Phoenix, passed away peacefully on Monday, Feb. 8, 2022. She was predeceased by her husband of almost 62 years, Leonard, Jr., in 2017.
Survived by her children; Colleen (Bob), Sandy (Chris), Mary (Larry), and Jeffrey; and her grandchildren; Mandy (Greg), Michael (Joy), Joshua, April (Scott), Randi (Nick), Ashley (Aaron), Ryanne, Travis (Kortney), Lindsey (Jake), Kori (Steven), Kylee, Jeffrey, and Jacob. She was blessed with 15 great-grandchildren. Carol was born on Jan. 2, 1935, to Eva E. (Larkin) and Parker N. Frawley.
She completed high school in Phoenix, and continued on for a year to nursing school, leaving early to raise her family. She enjoyed entertaining family and friends and creating flower arrangements. She especially enjoyed a good game of Bridge. She was an active member of the First Congregational, UCC in Phoenix. After raising her children she served in the Baldwinsville school system in the high school guidance office.
She was a generous and beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and spent many days hosting playdates, pool parties and sleepovers with her grandchildren. She was an avid traveler and enjoyed traveling with her husband, also sharing her love of travel with her children and grandchildren. In her many years after her husband, Leonard’s death, she was a resident at Park Terrace in Radisson where she made many new friends and was cared for with love and understanding.
