Joseph Palmowski, 94, a Cazenovia resident for 60 years passed away Friday, Dec. 31, 2021. Born in Limoge, France, Joseph immigrated to the U.S. in 1949.
He was a veteran of the French Air Force and the United States Army, then became a U.S. citizen.
He worked at Carrier Corporation for 41 years. He was predeceased by his wife Joan of 61 years and his daughter Mary.
Surviving are his sons, Claude (Nesrin), Maurice (Alma) and Edmond (Barbara), his daughters, Elizabeth (Flemming), Emilie and Helene (Terry), his brothers Marcel and Henri, his sisters Anne (Wayne) and Helene, five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are 10 – 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 15, 2022 immediately followed by the funeral at 11 a.m. at the Ayer & Zimmer Funeral Home, 38 Sullivan St. Cazenovia. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Cazenovia. Masks are mandatory.
