Mary Elizabeth McLaughlin Natoli died on Nov. 6, 2021, in Albany, N.Y. She was born on June 4, 1919, in West Exeter, NY, the daughter of Florence Harold McLaughlin and Louise Atwell McLaughlin.
She graduated from Cazenovia Central School in 1937, and SUNY Cortland in 1942 with a degree in health and physical education. Employed by the Norwich Central Schools, she first taught physical education and, later, was a teaching assistant in kindergarten and special education.
In June 1946 in Norwich, N.Y., she married the late Agatino J. Natoli.
She was also predeceased by her parents and brothers, David Lynn McLaughlin, and George Atwell McLaughlin. Surviving are children and spouses: Elizabeth Ann and Nicholas Andrews of Burlington, VT; James G. and Eileen (Kelly) Natoli of Schodack, N.Y.; Mary Louise Natoli and John Huegelmeyer of Middletown, MD; and David J. and Judy (Cox) Natoli of Guilderland, N.Y. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A mass of Christian burial is to be celebrated on Friday, Nov. 12, 2021, at Christ the King Church in Albany, N.Y. Interment will be in St Paul’s Cemetery, Norwich, N.Y. at the family’s convenience in the Spring of 2022.
