Robert B. McCormick, age 35, of Jupiter, FL and formerly of Fayetteville, passed away on April 5, 2021, due to an accidental overdose after a courageous battle with addiction.
Robert had been sober for over 18 months so this comes as a shock to both his family and friends. Rob had an extremely compassionate heart and an occasionally troubled mind. He had a passion for health, adventure, helping others, and having fun. Rob was kind, loving and considerate to everyone he met. His friends and family adored his fun-loving spirit and zest for life. He was unabashedly optimistic and funny.
Rob was most recently the director of programs at the Dunbar Early Learning Center, where he created and managed school programs for under privileged children in Hobe Sound, FL. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him, especially his family.
A loving and loyal son, brother and father, Robert is survived by his son, Jackson McCormick, his brothers, Brendan McCormick and Spencer Bradshaw, his father John McCormick and mother Arlene Bradshaw.
