Shirley K. Falkner passed away on April 27, 2020.
Shirley was born May 25, 1928, in Buffalo, N.Y. She began playing piano at the age of 5 and graduated from Kenmore High School in 1946. Her 55-year love affair and marriage to Chuck began with a 90-day courtship in Buffalo. She was a dedicated and loving wife, homemaker and mother to four children.

Shirley was an accomplished pianist and enjoyed playing for as many who would listen. She was very active in the Cazenovia community and over her 14 years here, she was involved in her CASA group and trips, a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Cazenovia, chair yoga, Friendship Inn, bowling, Friday Scrabble, Red Hat Society gatherings and her “Golden Girls” card games and dinner parties.
Her legacy of love includes her children, Laura Louise Brown (predeceased) and Ken Brown of Chagrin Falls, OH, and their children Justin (Vanessa) and Kevin (Melissa); Claudia Marie Falkner of Wilmington NC, Norman Charles (Cindi) Falkner of Richmond, VA, his children Matthew (Cecilia) and Stefanie (Michelle), and Paula J “PJ” (Dave) Sparks of Cazenovia, her son Jamison Duffy; and by one great-grandson, Colin Falkner. She was predeceased by her husband Charles Edward Falkner and her two brothers Lawrence Albert Kimble and Claude Franklin Kimble, Jr.
