Cazenovia native Christopher S. Dryer, 53, born on Nov. 27, 1966 in Syracuse, unexpectedly passed away in San Diego, CA, on March 11, 2020.
Christopher graduated from Cazenovia High School in the class of 1984. He enjoyed playing varsity soccer, ice hockey, skiing, sailing and boating. He also was an active member of Cazenovia Lake Yacht Club. Chris’s longtime high school friends will miss him greatly.
Chris enrolled in Ithaca College, NY and earned his bachelor’s degree in business management in 1988. A year after college he moved to Charlotte, NC and started his career in sales management with several companies. Over & Over, in Charlotte, NC, and TTM Technologies, Costa Mesa, CA, a global printed circuit board manufacturer. He was a technical sales representative for Krayden Inc., based in Denver, CO.
Chris experienced the challenge of starting his own company, Pulse Solutions in 2008, for three years.
Just this January, Chris started a new job with Boston based Epoxy Technolnogy, which recently was acquired by Meridian Adhesives in March, where he was the east coast sales manager, from Boston to Miami.
Christopher is survived by his mother, Patricia Parpard and Paul R. Parpard, of Cazenovia, sister, Robin Dryer Lamb, Matthew Lamb, Jordan Lamb and Sara Lamb, of Raleigh, NC, sister, Denise Parpard Harrison, Robert B. Harrison, Brooke Harrison and Grant Harrison, of Parkland, FL, brother Michael Parpard, Dauna Parpard and London Parpard of Long Beach, CA, and stepmother, Denise Dryer.
A memorial service and celebration of Christopher’s life will be held at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Cazenovia.
The date will be announced later this year when we can safely gather again with family and friends.
