Rosemary C. Nagle Resig, 92, of The Nottingham, died peacefully on Aug. 13, 2019. Rosemary was a longtime resident of Fayetteville. She was born on Jan. 26, 1927, in Altoona, PA, and graduated in 1944 from the Altoona Area High School. Rosemary retired in 2005 from Immaculate Conception Church in Fayetteville where she was office manager, receptionist and bookkeeper.
She was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church. Her hobbies included seamstress and tailoring, knitting, latch hook rugs, travel by train and woodworking and furniture refinishing.
She is survived her husband of 70 years, Richard F. Resig; children, Michael (Martha) Resig, Patricia Curtin, Mark Resig and Christopher (Susan) Resig; daughter-in-law, Ann Resig; 14 grandchildren, David, Joel, Sarah, Timothy, Brian, Kevin, Bianca, James Jr., Thomas, Dorothy, Richard, John, Michael and Steven; 17 great-grandchildren; siblings, Clemence Fogel, Herman (Sandy) Nagle and Paul (Josephine) Nagle; and sister-in-law Carol Nagle.
She was predeceased by her son James Resig; son-in-law, Ray Curtin; parents, Cyril and Rosella Nagle; and brothers, David and Fred Nagle.
Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 16, at Eaton-Tubbs Fayetteville Chapel, 7191 E. Genesee St., Fayetteville. The service will begin at 10:15 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 17, at Eaton-Tubbs Fayetteville Chapel followed by the funeral mass at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 400 Salt Springs St., Fayetteville. Burial will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Fayetteville.
