BALDWINSVILLE — In years past, the Messenger has asked local elected officials about their New Year’s resolutions for their municipalities.
As I’ve said before, resolutions aren’t my thing because they are too easy to break. But here’s a few things I’m serious about for the coming year:
- Continue with my pledge to return all phone calls. One-on-one with taxpayers is the best solution.
- Continue working with our business community to make the village a great place for success.
- Strive to keep our tax rate flat as we have the past three to four years.
- Work to make B’ville a safe place to live whether we are talking crime, COVID, our water supply or snow removal.
- Continue to make our village a great place for seniors to call home.
- Maintain/upgrade our park and trail system. We’ve seen a huge uptick in usage during the pandemic and want to continue to meet those needs as well as offer a refuge for all within walking distance.
