To the editor:
Standard & Poor announced on Aug. 22 that the Bond Rating of AA was re-issued to the Town of Cicero after reviewing the town’s 2017 financials. The town’s fiscal structuring and budget monitoring has successfully proved its financial stability within the bond investment market. The AA bond rating gives the town the ability to obtain better bond proposals within the bond market. During my tenure, my team has worked very hard to accomplish this AA rating. To receive this report two years in a row is an outstanding accomplishment and a testament to the efforts of your town team. Standard & Poor stated that the town has a strong budgetary performance and a strong institutional framework score. This report gives us a secure outlook regarding future planning and affords us additional opportunities. More good news to the residents here in the town of Cicero.
