The Madison County Board of Elections office in the county office building in Wampsville will be open four evenings and two Saturday mornings prior to the Nov. 8 general election to facilitate applying for and voting an absentee ballot for voters that cannot get in to the Board of Elections during regular hours.
It is too late to register to vote for this General Election. This time is merely to facilitate people who wish to vote by absentee ballot.
The extra evening hours will be:
•Tuesday, Oct. 25 — 5 to 7 p.m.
•Wednesday, Oct. 26 — 5 to 7 p.m.
•Wednesday, Nov. 2 — 5 to 7 p.m.
•Thursday, Nov. 3 — 5 to 7 p.m.
The Saturday mornings will be from 9 a.m. to noon on Oct. 29 and Nov. 5.
