To the editor:
On the south of the Seneca River is a little building that houses the Baldwinsville Visitor Center. Managed by the Greater Baldwinsville Chamber of Commerce, the Baldwinsville Visitor Center is open whenever volunteer greeters are available, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day. Our greeters welcome visitors who come by boat, car or foot, and provide information on local attractions, services, restaurants and shopping.
Fun facts from the 2019 visitor log:
• 125 people/groups made entries
• 22 states and the District of Columbia were represented
• 3 Canadian provinces were represented: Quebec, Ontario and Alberta
The following people gave their time and talent during the 2019 summer season: Mickie Lorenz, Ann Perkins, Joan Patchett, Pat Kane, Steph Maynard, Jo Wells, Cindy Clarke, Mary Crego, John Gehl, Michele Payment, Ed Payment, Bob Brown, Linda McLellan, Wanda Weller, Lu Czajkowski, Ted Reich, June Davis, Jean Hart, Diana Wolpert, Dianne Richman, Ruth Cico, Bob Peet, and Ginevra Petroske.
