The Greater Cazenovia Area Chamber of Commerce (GCACC) has a new look, and so do Caz Bucks, a way to support local businesses while shopping for the holidays.
Caz Bucks can be purchased in $5 increments, and every Caz Buck purchased and spent supports the local community. Participating Cazenovia-area retailers will have these “new” Caz Bucks stickers displayed on front doors, featuring a new logo developed by the GCACC and local designer Monica Palmer to promote Cazenovia’s natural beauty and disposition for outdoor living.
The Chamber expects the new brand to stimulate economic and communal growth among both residents and tourists.
Cash change will be made for any purchases less than the certificate value. GCACC will be reimbursing local business for all Caz Bucks collected.
These certificates are available online at cazenovia.com/cazbucks or all year at the Chamber office located at 59 Albany St., open Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays 9 a.m. to noon. Cash, checks and charge cards are accepted.
